Haste The Day

Haste the Day is a Christian metalcore band on Solid State Records from Indianapolis, Indiana, formed in 2001. Their band is named after a lyric in the hymn "It Is Well With My Soul".

The band's first release, the 2002 EP "That They May Know You", did not receive much notice in the industry, and it was not until their 2004 album "Burning Bridges" that the band got some attention. In 2005, they released "When Everything Falls", which swept through the metalcore scene and quickly garnered fans' attention. The single "When Everything Falls" made it onto the MTV2 "Headbanger's Ball: The Revenge" compilation, helping the band make a huge stride towards becoming a major force in the metalcore scene.

Vocalist Jimmy Ryan announced his departure from the band in late November of 2005 after accepting a job with their record label, Tooth & Nail Records. His last show was in the band's hometown of Indianapolis on December 30, 2005. The remaining members continued on for the European tour with The Juliana Theory, accompanied by Stephen Keech of Denver-based Christian band New Day Awakening. On February 23, 2006, Haste the Day stated in a press release that they had officially made Keech their new permanent singer.

Haste the Day geh?ren auf jeden Fall zu meinen Lieblingsbands momentan. Das neue Album ist zwar komplett anders als die Alten (was wohl am S?nger liegt), aber auch irgendwie toll - nur halt nich mehr so gebr?llt.
Das vermisse ich aber auch an dem Album..die Aggressivit?t gemischt mit dem tollen Gesang <3

When Everything Falls mit dem gleichnamigen Song ist eine tolle Metalcore Scheibe. Das neue Werk werde ich mir noch zu Gem?te f?hren.

Burning Bridges ist g?ttlich. <3 f?r die EP davor interessiere ich mich weniger. When Everything Falls war auch noch akzeptabel, aber da hat man schon den trend zum melodi?sen bemerkt (goo goo dolls cover = oO). naja und dann ist mit Jimmy das beste, was die band hatte, gegangen, schade drum. der neue schreihals klingt wesentlich austauschbarer, abgesehen davon kann man sich Preussure the Hinges trotzdem anh?ren.

F?r mich ja sowas wie die Refrain-K?nige schlechthin "When Everything Falls" ist gro? und Pressure The Hinges kann durchaus mithalten. Habe sie damals bereits Anfang 2006 live mit dem neuen S?nger gesehen und fand den Auftritt gro?artig, ich hoffe sie machen ihr Versprechen wahr und kommen dieses Jahr noch auf Tour.

Wer macht eingentlich diese tollen clean vocal parts ? Der Bassist, Gitarrist ?

Fand ich mal sehr geil die Band, hab sogar Burning Bridges und When Everything Falls im CD Schrank. Das neue Album gef?llt mir wenig bis gar nicht, einfach auf Grund des neuen S?ngers, mir fehlt einfach das Keifige was Jimmy noch hatte. Bis auf Chrous Of Angels find ich das neue Album langweilig, schade um eine ehemals so gute Band.
